RootFor Terms of Service

Last updated: July 24, 2026

RootFor helps a family coordinate a kid's sports schedule, rides, and cheers. By using RootFor, you agree to these terms.

Who can use RootFor

RootFor accounts are for adults (18 or older), and for teens (13 or older) whom a parent invites into their family circle. A teen account is invitation-only and restricted. If you invite a teen, you are the parent or guardian responsible for their participation and you consent to it. Children under 13 do not have accounts. You are responsible for your family circle and the people you invite into it.

Your content

You keep ownership of the schedules, photos, and messages you add. You are responsible for what you post. You give RootFor permission to store and display your content to the members of your own family circle so the app can work.

Acceptable use

Photos of children and other families

Sharing photos of your own children within a private family circle is the normal use of RootFor. Only share photos you have the right to share. If a team photo includes another family's child and that family asks for it to be removed, contact us at chickendotdev@gmail.com and we will remove it. Circle organizers control who is a member; disagreements between households about a circle are resolved by the adults involved through circle membership.

Content moderation

A circle organizer can remove content within their circle, and any member can report content to their organizer. We may remove content that violates these terms.

No guarantee about rides

RootFor helps a family coordinate who is driving, but it cannot guarantee that anyone will actually drive. Always confirm your plans directly. RootFor is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RootFor and its developer are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop using RootFor and delete your account at any time from within the app.
